Absolut Thessaloniki

Actually it's an aerial photo of "Aristotle Square" in Thessaloniki-Greece. The photo is made by the photographer Andy Glass (a year ago) and was shot in purpose to show the bottle of Absolut vodka. You can check out his work at his site www.andyglassphoto.com. The agency he co-operates with, used it for an outdoor ad that really came out in Thessaloniki. What is more amazing about it, is the fact that there has been almost no retouching of the photo. Aristotle square in Thessaloniki actually looks exactly like this! Amazing coincidence!

Just to prove this true, i took a screen shot from Google earth, and tried to make it some-how in the same perspective so u can almost see the same ad in daytime ;-) I bet the people that live there have never noticed this until Andy's eye did :-) There is only a slightly difference on the lower right side of the bottle, where the buildings should be just a bit more to the right.
